a5c7b9f00b Peter Parker is finally happy: he is doing well at the school, his girlfriend MJ Watson loves him and the whole city loves his crime-fighting alter-ego Spider-Man, finally bestowing upon him the praise he so rightly deserves. Apart from this, he has made some new foes and rivals . His former friend-turned-foe Harry Osborn has become the New Goblin and wants to avenge his father by killing Spider-Man. On one night, an alien symbiote from outer space crash lands in Peter's vicinity and attaches itself to his Spider suit, turning it black in colour and enhancing its powers. Flint Marko, a fugitive, is turned into The Sandman when he gets subjected to a molecular lab experiment. Incidentally, Marko is the person who is revealed to have killed Peter's uncle Ben and now Peter wants revenge. Peter's joba freelance photographer with The Daily Bugle is taken by Eddie Brock. Peter also learns that apart from enhancing his powers the black symbiote has also brought out the dark side within him which causes him to ruthlessly manages to throw Eddie out of his job. When MJ breaks up with him, he starts dating his fellow student Gwen Stacy who was Edie's ex, to make them both jealous. Soon Peter must decide whether he should let his dark side to dominate his personality or not.
Life finally feels good for Peter Parker. He has managed to balance lifeboth Spider-Man andMary Jane's boyfriend. He is even planning on proposing to MJ. But life isn't always going to be easy for the webbed hero. Harry Osborn still hasn't forgiven Peter for the death of his father. He has developed the perfect technology and crowns himself the 'New Goblin'. Harry isn't the only problem. It is revealed that an escaped convict, Flint Marko is the real killer of Peter's uncle. After an accident, he is now the invincible 'Sandman', who has teamed up with Venom to target the superhero, who is struggling to handle his life.
It's not unusual that people comment on a movie like they're looking for mistakes in the plot, or searching very deep for the weakest points in it, just to give a so-so-rating. Spiderman is one of those kinds of movies… It has some weak points, the story sometimes seems to forget one or other character, and then in the end they all come together like it was so natural. The sandman isn't such a bad guy but seems to be a bit too violent for a person who is just trying to save it's kid… a bit greedy isn't him? And if he's not a killer, why'd he agree to kill spiderman so easily?… OK, you can add lots of other bad things in the plot, you'll find'em, but isn't it supposed to be an entertaining movie? Yes, and to put the bad guys together Eddie, wearing the black suit finds the sandman in a blink and make in an allie in less than 5 seconds!! Besides that, and concentrating on the action itself, Spiderman 3 has a very good pace, and most of the situations happen in a "natural" way, entertaining a lot (which is it's main purpose). The special effects are great, lots of CGI of course, but even that is getting better and better, and now Spiderman jumps and action seems more real than ever! That was one of the reasons I went to watch the movie! The black suit is really nice and it was a really good story to pick from (will it return? there is a little sample on the laboratory where Parker left it to be analyzed)…<br/><br/>I am Spiderman fan since I was a kid, although I stop reading the comics long ago, but this movie is probably the best in the series, mainly because it's superb special effects and CGI. Because of that, all the weak points aren't enough to say "it's not a good movie"…
I know I'm a bit behind the times, but I just saw this movie. I don't know very much about comic books, but I enjoyed the first two greatly. With Sam Raimi at the helm again, I expected nothing less than a good time. But this was really, really, really, really, I must reiterate another really, awful. The beginning was very promising, and then took about 90+ minutes to get somewhat exciting again. But even the end was numbed by the wretched romantic comedy that made up 3/4 of the film. It got to the point where I just wanted everyone to blow up without any closure whatsoever. Even the little things in this were bad. I know Stan Lee loves to make cameos in Marvel movies, but it was extremely forced and unnecessary in this one. Tobey Maguire is whinier than ever, save for a "tough guy" spurt halfway through that just does not work on so many levels. Apparently if a guy pastes his hair to his face and dance-walks around the streets, every attractive woman wants him. Kirsten Dunst looks asleep for most of the feature, but that's typical of her. If there was a show to be stolen, Thomas Hayden Church ran away with it. He did a good job, though I felt the character he portrayed didn't make much sense within the trilogy. The previous villains were masterminds gone wrong. The Sandman was just a criminal who got stuck in a pointless yet very convenient science experiment. Oh, and Venom showed up for about three minutes to bounce around a bit. All in all, this was really bad and a disgraceful follow-up to the previous two films. If there's anyone out there who hasn't seen it, spare yourself. Go to the video store, and rent Death To Smoochy. And that's that.
Still smart, still exciting and still action-packed. It's just a shame to note that, after promising greatness, all Spider-Man 3 delivers is satisfaction.
Another answer can be like a reference to the 1994's Spiderman: The Animated Series, when he accidentally found the weak of the Symbiote in a fight with Shocker in the "The Alien Costume" saga. The answer is twofold; Eddie worked for the daily bugle and thus likely found out about Marko's escape and motivesthe bugle was covering it. He then bonds with the Symbiote which retains its memories of its time bonded with Peter including the fight in the subway. Eddie Brock Jr. could have been brought back for a sequel or spinoff (but hasn't and won't). Additionally, the Symbiote is still alive in a couple places—remember that Dr. Connors still has a piece of the Symbiote. It is widely believed that the Symbiote that Connors has will eventually bond with the yet-to-be-introduced character of Cletus Kasady to form Carnage,was the case in the comics that Carnage was created in Venom's wake. It was announced in July 2008 that there was Venom spinoff in early pre-production that would follow Spider-Man 3 (but seemingly it was cancelled with the discontinuation of the main movie series). Topher Grace possibly would not have returned for the role,there had been several other hosts to the Venom Symbiote in the comics that could be used in a solo film, including the short lived Angelo Fortunato, and the Scorpion aka "Mac" Gargan. Eddie Brock, meanwhile, had the bits of Symbiote left over in his blood bond to his white blood cells, giving him a new white Venom-like suit. Along with a more altruistic attitude, Brock calls himself Anti-Venom. A potential spinoff could have followed either of these plots. (Source: here.) Ultimately the fates of the characters in the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man continuity is unknown, and similar is the case with the later Andrew Garfield Spider-Man reboot continuity, since the movie franchise was rebooted one more time shortly thereafter. The song playing during Peter's street-dancing scene was "People, Get up, and Drive Your Funky Soul" by James Brown. It is an edited version, though, since the original was nine minutes long and was featured on James Brown's 1988 album Motherlode. This version is two minutes and 24 seconds. Possibly never. It is still unknown at this time when or if it will be released. It is also unknown what the running time would be. Sam Raimi has not made any statements about a Director's Cut, although Columbia has been known to release extended director's cuts on DVD for other titles in the past, including Spider-Man 2.1. However, note that Columbia may no longer have the relevant rights (suchpost-production in addition to distribution) to the Spider-Man cinema franchise,the underlying copyright (or license) has gone from Columbia's control to Sony's and then to Marvel Studios'. The movie studios are unlikely to work out a deal, especially if it wouldn't be mutually profitable. If a Director's Cut home video release is ever made of this movie, it is likely to be called Spider-Man 3.1. Had a "3.1" DVD been made then it would have likely to been released to coincide with the theatrical release of the reboot movie The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) just like when the "2.1" DVD came out to coincide with the theatrical release of Spider-Man 3. But the odds of this had always been slim, given that The Amazing Spider-Man was the start of a new series. Had Spider-Man 4 been released in 2011, the studio probably would have released ita Spider-Man 3.1 then. When the film was completed, the running time was set at 156 minutes on the IMDb page, then later reduced to 139 minutes. Therefore, about 17 minutes was cut from the final film. Note: Richard Roeper & Christy Lemire's review of the film presented the 156-minute running time on screen, but it is no longer available online. On a Sony Pictures discussion board thread archived here There was going to be a fourth movie but the studio eventually scrapped it in favor of a reboot. It was ultimately cancelled coming down to a combination of Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures not agreeing on an antagonist or villain for the film and Raimi hating the concocted storyline for the fourth film. Perhaps there was a way to save "Spider-Man 4"; but justlikely the studio folks tried all they could but to no avail, and it would've cost too much money had they kept on trying to agree on a villain or got more writers to draft the story.
